

Betty Jean Williams, 91, passed away on April 14, 2026. Born in Jefferson County, GA on November 6, 1934, she lived a life marked by steady faith, quiet strength, and a kindness that made others feel seen and cared for.
Betty graduated from Lawrence High School in NY and went on to attend The North Country Community Hospital program, earning her practical nursing degree. She then continued her education through the University of the State of New York, earning her degree as a licensed practical nurse. In her work and in her daily life, she carried herself with a gentle, dependable spirit—an example that inspired confidence and comfort in those around her.
On March 4, 1966, Betty married Eddie James Williams. She was a dedicated church member and loved to read, especially the Bible, drawing encouragement from its words and reflecting that devotion through a life of care, patience, and compassion.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, Willie Mae and Lee Otis Whigham, and her husband, Eddie James Williams.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Barbara Noble and her husband Dr. Howard Doyle Noble, Jr; her sister, Rosa Lee Davis; her niece, Marva Stone; two great nephews, Ibrahim Stone and his wife Trellawney and Benjamin Stone; and a cousin, Cynthia Copeland. She will be deeply cherished and sincerely missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
A Memorial Service will be held at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trl, Jupiter, Florida 33458, on May 9, 2026 at 11:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Rd, Tequesta, Florida 33469, US.
