Daniel Frederick Aaron, age 56, of Jupiter, Florida passed away unexpectedly from acute organ failure on February 7, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he attended Lower Merion High School (1983). He continued his education at Tulane University as a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, graduating with his Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University in 1988.
Following his father’s legacy of entrepreneurship, Dan began his career within the gasoline industry in South Florida. With an unmeasurable amount of dedication and hard work, he created his own business empire consisting of gasoline stations and a shopping center across prestigious locations within Palm Beach and Martin counties. Eventually consolidating his professional achievements to primarily focus on being President of Petroleum Ventures Corporation, as sole proprietor of Juno Beach Mobil and Jupiter Sunoco gas stations.
Married for 27 years to his devoted wife Joan, they created a home based on a foundation of pure love, comfort, and genuine warmth. Together, they gave the world their greatest contribution by creating three children full of sunlight, kindness, and only the best parts of each of their parents. Eldest daughter Brooke followed by fraternal twins, daughter Drew and son Ben, exceeded every expectation in Dan’s heart as they filled his life with continuous pride and constant happiness. All of his efforts in every aspect of his life revolved around providing limitless opportunities to guarantee his family’s security and the ability to experience the beauty in the world. Together they all continuously traveled as one, as they explored breathtaking destinations such as the Hawaiian Islands, Jackson Hole, WY, and energetic cities such as New Orleans, Seattle, and New York City.
Dan was truly blessed by his parents with striking features and a personality filled with calmness, in addition to an unimaginable sense of humor and extraordinary empathy always leading to generosity. He was a humble benefactor of multiple organizations which include the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Separated by distance but not in spirit, Dan looked forward to any opportunity to see his beloved mother, two siblings, and their individual families. He loved to reminisce with them, and their unified laughter would transport them together to the happiest moments of their past. In contrast to his concentrated focus on the business ventures in his life, Dan developed an interest in all aspects of outer space which significantly amused his family. An athlete and avid fan of sports since childhood, he regularly pursued perfecting his golf game and discussing baseball with his son. His signature laugh was easily exposed by his ability to see the humor in moments and things not always easily detected by others. Dan had a meticulous attention to detail, impeccable taste always leading to perfection, and passion for vintage memorabilia. He regularly posted various quotes from a wide range of authors on his gas pumps in order to personally inspire every patron of his business. All of his efforts resulted in his Juno Beach Mobil station being recognized and featured in a guidebook as a top destination in Palm Beach.
Dan’s wife and children will forever continue his legacy of remaining youthful in spirit and ability to express love in every moment. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Aaron, father-in-law Steve Fuchila, and stepfather Gene Leibowitz. Beyond his mentioned family, Dan is survived by his mother Barbara Leibowitz, elder brother Douglas Aaron (Bonnie), younger sister Jill O’Brien (Matthew), mother-in-law Rose Marie Fuchila, sister-in-law Jeanne Loewengart (Andrew), nieces Allison and Liv in addition to nephews David, Jack, Marc, and Lance. Through this unbearable pain and unforeseeable sudden loss, their hearts will keep beating and all their actions will honor him moving forward. The family truly acknowledges his lifelong friends, dedicated employees that extend beyond a decade, his loyal customers, and respected business associates. In addition, they wish to extend their sincere appreciation for the multitude of comforting words, prayers, and all expressions of genuine kindness.
A private memorial service focusing on a celebration of life and scattering of ashes will occur at a future date on the island of Maui in Hawaii. Here, he will rest in a paradise surrounded by the beauty of nature that has always embraced him with peace.
If desired, memorial donations to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are encouraged.
