She was born Feb. 8, 1927 in Teaneck, NJ the daughter of Val and Margaret Samler. In addition to being a devoted housewife, Elizabeth was the manager of a large beauty salon for several years and was very active in charity work raising money for breast cancer research. Her favorite pastime was playing golf which she enjoyed for over 50 years.
Elizabeth was married to James Trubek for 67 years who passed away in Aug. 2014 and is survived by her son James, her daughter Patricia Wheat and her grandson Jacob Wheat. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Mirabella Club House, 104 Mirabella Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens. FL on Sunday, Mar. 1, 2015. Donations can be made in her memory to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL, 33407.
