Frank Malara Jr. of Palm Beach Gardens (formerly of Elmsford, NY) passed away on April 6, 2016. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Anne “Scotty” Malara; siblings, Joe Malara of New York, NY and Grace Eturespe of Connecticut; along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Frank Malara Sr. and Anna Iello.
Frank was a graduate of Florida State University where he was a four year member of the Seminoles Golf team. He was the co-owner of World of Golf in New York, NY and a PGA professional. He was a resident of PGA National since 1982.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Cathedral, 9999 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL on Monday, April 18th at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/give).
