He graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx, NY. He served his country in the US Navy active duty for 2 years then the Navy Reserves for 6 years. George graduated from NYC Community College in Brooklyn with a major in Construction Technology. George worked as a Project Engineer for 35 years, earning 2 patents, working for Babcock & Wilcock in NYC and Ohio, Combustion Engineering in East Hartford, Connecticut, Foster Wheeler in Livingston, NJ, and OC Utilities Sewage Authority in Bayville, NJ. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Irma; their children Yvonne (Dan), Debra (Drew), Denise (Glenn), and Chris (Stephanie); grandchildren Dan (Felice), Jennifer (Anthony), Julie, Brittany, Ashley, Zachary, Christopher, and Mallory; great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Joseph, Daniella, and Victoria.
