

George Isenberg, formerly of Waban, MA, passed away peacefully at his home in Jupiter, FL surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Connie, sons Mark of Brownsville, VT and David of Dedham, MA and daughter, Dana of Roslindale, MA as well as beloved in-laws, nieces & nephews.
To the very end George possessed a sharp wit and dry sense of humor, keeping friends,relatives and strangers on their toes at all times. He also cared deeply for others, spending countless hours as a volunteer with cancer patients, first at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute then later at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Palm Beach, FL.
George grew up in Brookline, MA and graduated from Northeastern University after serving in the Navy during WW II. George was President of Isenberg Brothers, Incorporated, a commercial real estate company in Boston and was a valued property consultant for various hospitals & universities in the area. He was particularly proud of of his role in helping to establish the Ronald McDonald house in Brookline.
Georgeʼs greatest joy was his wife Connie and the time they spent together with friends & family at the their home on Lake Winnepasaukee, playing golf at Pine Brook Country Club in Weston and later at Admiralʼs Cove in Jupiter, Florida where they lived for the past 26 years.
A celebration of his life will be held in the Fall in Jupiter. Donations in his honor can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County (hpbc.com) or the the Jupiter Medical Center (jupitermed.com).
