Ghislaine Moore

Ghislaine was predeceased by her husband, Daniel G. Moore, and recently by her son-in-law of 46 years, Jean-Bernard Ouvier.

Ghislaine leaves behind a loving family of two daughters, Christiane Ouvier of Jupiter and Brigitte Morrill (husband Michael) of Tequesta; three grandsons and a granddaughter, Arnaud Ouvier of Jupiter, Jerome Ouvier (wife Deborah) of Charlotte, NC, Julian Perrin of Philadelphia, PA and Olivia Perrin of Philadelphia, PA; five great grandchildren, Alexzondra Ouvier, Blaise Ouvier, Kiara Ouvier, Lucas Ouvier and Ellie Ouvier; three step daughters, Katherine Sims, Patricia Moore, and Deborah Moore; her sister and nieces and nephews.

Ghislaine has lived in the Jupiter Inlet Colony and Palm Beach Gardens areas for the past 30 plus years. She was raised in Paris and led a very full life living in France, Africa, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines and Spain over the course of her life time prior to settling in Palm Beach County.

Ghislaine was extremely active in the community while working at the Coast Guard Exchange in Jupiter. She later volunteered for years at the Furry Friends Store in Jupiter and kept active as a volunteer at the Jupiter Maltz Theater Conservatory where she enjoyed going to see as many performances as she could. Ghislaine led a very active life and did not retire totally until well into her eighties.

Ghislaine was a true person of passion for life being deeply involved in her family, her friends, her social connections and her church. She always loved the company of any of those mentioned and would always find time for a good glass of wine. Ghislaine will be sorely missed by her loving family and friends.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Clare’s Catholic Church in Palm Beach Gardens on Saturday, February 20th, 2021 at 12:00 noon. A private Burial will be held at Riverside Park Cemetery in Tequesta at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff who cared for Ghislaine at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens, St. Mary’s Hospital and Hospice of Jupiter during her final days.
