I just heard of Harry's passing from my brother Ed Yatsco who still lives in Youngstown.  Harry and I are cousins.  My mother and his mother were sisters.  My mother was a younger sister (Estelle/Stella).  I do remember visiting them on Belmont.  I am six years younger than Harry.  My parents Carl and Estelle are buried right before Harry's parents at the Calvary cemetery in Youngstown.  From my brother Ed, sister Eileen and myself our condolences.  Jim Yatsco (Charleston, SC)

As a member of the 1951 Ursuline High School graduating class,  ... Harry's class, I wish also to extend my condolences to his family.  Harry's name frequently comes up during our mini reunions as he will be fondly remembered once again, when we come togethe later this month.

i want to send my dearest sympathy to Ryan and Vince for the passing of your dad.  i'm sorry i cant be with you at this time as i'm in north carolina.  i remember you stopping here to visit many years ago.  we also visited you in the keys.

I will carry good memories of Harry Kruger, from working at P&W and from having the occasional lunch with fellow retirees.  Harry was always genuinely happy to see you.  His joy and happiness at seeing or recognizing an old friend was always reflected back in kind.  He had a good way of engaging you in conversation and keeping things in perspective. I would like to express my sympathy and condolences to Harry's family, with whom I am not acquainted.  Harry and I first became friends in 1969 at Pratt working together on the J-58 engine test program.  Along with wonderful group “hardware engineers” who all shared common interests associated with aviation, the military, cars, engines and the Florida life style we shared a lot of great times both on and off the job throughout our careers. In retirement our group has shared the memories of the past staying in touch via the social media and in attending luncheons and company sponsored events.  I'm glad that I was able to see Harry several times last year and I know that he enjoyed the times with friends.  As I contemplated the medical problems he was facing, I could only become depressed and pray for him. May his family take comfort in knowing that there are many others who will continue to keep him in their prayers.

Rest in peace Harry.  You gave me my first job out of college in 1989, I'll always be grateful.  And your chili recipe lives on.  We have "Harry's Chili" on a regular basis.

Harry I was sadden to see the obituary's today. I must say one thing you are the only old geezer with a current photograph in the notices. I will miss our occasional gearhead visits. It was always a special day when you would come down to the G&M  Ranch and share a few the way it was in the old car days and not to be forgotten your input on the UH1H restoration.
