He graduated from Forest Hill High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. In 1973 Buck married Dede, the love of his life. He worked his entire career at Belvedere Contracting. Buck’s faith in the Lord was evident in all he did. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved playing his banjo.
Buck’s greatest joys were found in the time he spent with his family. He is survived by his wife, Dede Moody; a son, Danny Moody (Carrie); a daughter, Angie Smith (Micah); 7 grandchildren, Avery and Emily Moody; Chloe, Noah, Asher, Anna, and Cole ‘Blue’ Smith.
