Jason Hunter Bobo, 40, of Jupiter, FL, brought kindness, warmth, and love to the lives he touched from the day of his birth, March 18, 1971, to the day he left his earthly body, November 27th, 2011, as a result of sudden illness. From a very young age, Jason’s aptitude for technology set him apart. This passion followed him into his adult life, where he was a computer programmer by day and an avid fantasy gamer by night. Jason had an absolute heart of gold. The only thing more warm and comforting than his big bear hugs was the sweet sound of his singing voice. He was a member of the Jupiter High School chorus in his youth and a song leader at the Jupiter-Tequesta Church of Christ. Jason was a kid at heart who lived his life full of passion for knowledge, exotic cuisines and, above all, family. Jason’s greatest legacy in this life is his two children, Jacob Hunter, 13, and Kyla Alyssa, 4. He also leaves behind to carry his memory forever his mother, Susan Bobo of Jupiter, his sister, Bethany (Jimmy) McDowell of Tequesta, nieces Brooke McDowell, Brittany (Brad) Houtchens, Brye McDowell, Brenna McDowell, nephew Beau McDowell and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. His dear father whom he greatly missed, Gerald Bobo, predeceased him in 2004. Although Jason was taken too soon from this world, he will always remain in the hearts, minds and fondest memories of those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 3rd, at the Jupiter-Tequesta Church of Christ 11701 SE 171st Street Tequesta, FL. A memorial fund has been set up for his children and donations may be made at any branch of Wells Fargo Bank. Checks should be written to Susan Bobo referencing the Jacob Hunter and Kyla Alyssa Bobo Donation Account.
