Joseph was born in Newark, New Jersey on July 15, 1931. He graduated from West Side High School.
Joseph and Ann were married on May 7, 1961, and were together for 58 years.
In life, Joseph worked as a hairdresser for 60 years. He also enjoyed going on walks, cooking, and watching sports.
He is survived by his son Joseph Beninato Jr., and predeceased by his wife Ann Beninato, brothers Frank, Albert and Fred, and his sister Rose.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 5, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A graveside service will occur Friday, May 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S SR 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
