Lindsay was born March 3, 1984 in Palm Beach Gardens to Rachelle (Shelly Zentz) and Edmund Crain who welcomed her into a loving family surrounded by many friends.
Lindsay grew up in the Jupiter area and attended Jupiter Schools where her Grandparents, Bob and Sandy Zentz had taught school many years before.
Growing up Lindsay was cherished by many loving family members and friends. Whether boating on the Loxahatchee River, or trips to the Keys to participate in the family lobster diving adventures, she was surrounded by her aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends. Gatherings of family and friends typically caused heads to turn and smiles to cross the faces of all who participated in events with Lindsay.
At a young age Lindsay’s talent on the soccer field and in front of an easel became apparent. She had an eye for detail which she skillfully transferred to charcoal sketches and anime drawings, of which she produced many over the years.
To say that Lindsay was an avid reader does not convey the deep enjoyment she experienced while reading a good book. Nor was she selfish in this regard. Many of her fortunate friends and family members received Christmas gifts consisting of a gift card to a bookstore. These gift cards were always accompanied by a list of recommended reading selected specifically for the recipient of the gift.
Lindsay had one of the sweetest dispositions of anyone you could meet, and she never uttered a cross word, at least not without good reason.
Although Lindsay had always possessed a radiant personality, after she started dating Cameron Christ, it became apparent from the increased radiance, Lindsay had connected with the love of her life. Lindsay and Cameron did everything together and complimented each other in every way.
Trips to the Magic Kingdom were truly magical with Lindsay, Cameron and Cynarah eagerly anticipating the next visit while still relishing the most recent encounter with the Mouse.
Lindsay was pre-deceased by her father, Edmund Crain and uncle, Martin Zentz.
Lindsay is survived by her loving husband Cameron, stepdaughter Cynarah, mother, Rachelle Zentz-Crain, stepfather Michael Culpepper, sister Alyssa (James) Douglas, uncle Gregory (Sharon) Zentz, aunts, Rene’ (Bill) Magrogan, Constance (Michael) Canterbury, and cousins Danielle and Will Magrogan and Shelby Canterbury.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL, 33458. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., service at 2:00, Celebration of Life following services at a location to be announced. The internment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lindsay’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org
