Lois was a wonderful wife, exceptional mother and a dedicated and loving grandmother. Lois was essentially the rock of her family who guided, loved and cared for them until the very end.
Lois had a Masters degree in Education, and also studied in Oslo, Norway. She was the Event Coordinator For The Columbian Foundation in conjunction with Unico. She also started her own business called “Eventfully Yours” which was more of a hobby than a job where she planned weddings and events.
Lois loved her summers at Chatham Cape Cod and her family trips to Europe that spanned many countries, but it was Lago Di Como Italy that stole her heart where she and her family made wonderful memories and friends. Lois loved all animals especially her cats and her most recent fur baby dear RJ, who passed in May. Lois loved spending time with her family, she loved to sing, dance, listen to music and unlike many, maintained the art of the most beautiful and poetic handwritten thank you notes. Most importantly, she was a constant force of love for her family. She embodied true beauty and grace and left the most wonderful imprint on those who met her. Lois will be remembered for her unwavering integrity, generous spirit, and deep love she showed her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude and thanks to her exceptional doctors and nurses at Jupiter Medical Center, Anderson Family Cancer Institute in Jupiter, FL who became like family during Lois’s journey. She loved them all dearly. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to Vincent Pecora, Anthony Pecora and Wendy De Rose at Morgan Stanley. Their steadfast commitment, guidance and friendship was something Lois cherished.
Lois is survived and will be profoundly missed by her husband Robert A. Palko of Palm Beach Gardens, FL her daughter’s Alison Palko of Port St. Lucie, FL and Jennifer Palko of Palm Brach Gardens, FL, her son Robert "Rob" Palko of Atlanta, GA and her two wonderful granddaughters, Sabrina and Alexa both living in New York City.
