Mary Chiarello, 97, died peacefully on May 20, 2025. Mary, daughter of Vincenzo and Vittoria Fagliarone, was the second eldest of six children. She was born in Syracuse and moved to New York City in her early twenties.
In New York, she met her beloved husband, Gus and they were happily married for 47 years and raised three children together. Mary was active in church and school activities, and she enjoyed baking, knitting, and reading. She moved to Red Bank, New Jersey in 2003 and later moved to Jupiter, Florida in 2024. Mary will be dearly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Kind-hearted and caring, Mary loved her family and friends deeply, and she wished for her loved ones to celebrate her life rather than mourn her passing.
Visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 11:30 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, County Line Rd, Tequesta, FL 33469. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation or another children’s or veterans’ organization of your choice.
