IN THE CARE OF
Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center
Our dear son Matthew Lee Heinlen sadly passed away on Tuesday, May 3rd at the age of 45 in Hobe Sound, FL.
He was born on December 4th, 1976, to Larry & Juliette Heinlen in Denver, CO.
Matthew graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice after playing college football at Tennessee Tech University.
He co-owned a security company, D&B Controlled Chaos, which was founded in 2016. Working with local establishments and at countless events allowed Matt to connect and create relationships with thousands of local residents. Quite simply, Matt was someone that everyone looked forward to seeing while “out and about”.
He shared an exceptional son, Tucker Patrick Heinlen with Kelly Velez.
Matt enjoyed traveling with his soulmate Shannon Barney, hanging out with friends, golfing & fishing but especially loved spending time with his son, Tucker.
Matthew is survived by his soulmate Shannon, his son Tucker, parents Larry & Juliette & brother, Shawn (Missy & nephews Colton and Knox) & numerous relatives.
Matt was able to share his contagious smile with others and provide the best hugs, especially when one didn’t even know they needed it. Matt’s kind soul, mischievous smile and laugh will be missed by all who had the opportunity and pleasure to know him.
Celebrating our son, brother, father and friend to so many on Monday, May 9th, 2022. Visitation & service will be from 4-6p at Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.
A life celebration will follow at Civil Society Brewery Co., 1200 Town Center Drive, #101, Jupiter, FL 33458, immediately following.
Memorials or donations may be made to the 529 College Plan for his son, Tucker, at https://gofund.me/4a87e238
