

he went to Howard Trade School (Akron), where he excelled in drawing and painting. He also attended
Kent State University (Ohio), before beginning his career at Akro Tool and Die, where he was a
draftsman designing tire treads. He eventually moved his family to Coral Springs, FL in 1972, worked
briefly as a butcher before commencing work in 1975 with Florida Power and Light as a Senior Console
Operator – Security and Environmental Control, where he retired in 1993.
In 1983 Michael married Carla Maidlow, residing in Jupiter, Florida until his death. Michael had many
interests, including fishing, boating, woodworking, and spending time at the beach. He closely followed
his hometown Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers.
One of Michael Sesola’s great joys was the time spent with his three daughters and eight grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Carla (Troyke); three daughters--Michelle White (Alan) of Akron, OH; Valerie
Bibey (Clinton) of Akron OH; and Shari Barghouty (Hazem) of Rochester Hills, MI; Michelle’s daughter
(Alaina Bernadine); Valerie’s daughters—Megan Crane (Tom), Mariah Kozlowski (Rick), Morgan Craig,
and Victoria Bibey; and Shari’s children Dalia Barghouty, Nadya Barghouty, and Aden Barghouty. He will
also be greatly missed by his 6 great grandchildren, bonus daughter Beth Ann Wampler and close
friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary Sesola; and his sisters, Anna Marie Morris and
Norma Jean Sherlock.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church (Lake Worth, FL)
A visitation for Michael will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
