Mr. Johnson was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 3, 1919 to the late Oscar S. Johnson , Jr. and Lallie Fitzgerald. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Marie Schwartz Johnson. He was a Navy World War II veteran serving his country during the World War II. He had retired in West Palm Beach from Budweiser where he worked as a sales manager. He had also worked in for Alfar Creamery. He was a member of the West Palm Beach Lion’s Club, Elk’s Lodge and American Legion Post 0141
Survivors include his daughters Sandy (Greg) Wellman, Jupiter, Flordia, Carolyn S (Lou) Hevey, Lake Mary, Florida, son Michael S. (Cathy) Johnson, West Palm Beach , Florida, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011, 10:00am at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida, 33469
