Richard graduated from Tenney High School in Methuen, MA. He served his Country in the U. S. Navy. Richard was employed as a firefighter for Methuen Fire Department and Palm Beach Fire Rescue for 35 years before his retirement. He loved sports, especially the Boston Red Sox and the NE Patriots, was a baseball coach and a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the International Association of Fire Fighters and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Reuter.
He is survived by three children, Michael Reuter, Glenn Reuter and Carlene Clark; his ex-wife, Carol Reuter; two grandchildren, Justin Reuter and Shawna Clark and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7:00 PM. Burial will be private at South Fl National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
