Richard Walker, age 78, died peacefully at his home in Palm Beach Gardens, on July 1, 2019. Richard was born to Lucia and Fred Walker on June 15, 1941 in Lakewood, Ohio. He enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17 and rose to the rank of Sergeant in the 101st Airbourne Division. After the army he went on to have a very successful career in the fastener industry.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Patricia. Children, Heidi Hooper, Adam (Heather) Walker, Annalisa (Bill) Corbin, Deana (Heath) Lovett. Grandchildren, Marlie, Seth, MacKenzie, Mia, Kaitlin, and Rylie. Siblings, David (Eileen) Walker, Jane (Bill; deceased) Hunger, Helen (Tom) Niermann, and Mary Patricia (John) Holtmeier. Preceded in death by his sisters Ann Walker, Kathleen (Jerry) Eickmann, and brother William Walker. Richard was lovingly known as Uncle Richie to 28 nieces and nephews.
Richard was a larger than life presence to all that knew him. His laughter, generosity, kindness, and love for life and everyone in his life will never be forgotten.
