After high school Steve joined the Marine Corps and served in his early 20’s. After leaving the military he returned to Miami, Florida. He met his first wife, Cindy, in the late 70’s and married her in 1980. Steve and Cindy had two children, Kimberly and Timothy. Steve took extreme pride in his craftsmanship and being able to use his hands and tools to transform raw material into functional, beautiful spaces. After the passing of his first wife Cindy in 2013, he rekindled a high school friendship with Frances and then married her a year later. Frances and Steve spent the last several years enjoying their grandchildren and making memories with trips to Captiva Island, Florida. In the past years Steve has worked with many agencies within Palm Beach county including The Drug Court of Palm Beach County. Steve had a passion for helping counsel people with his stern but loving guidance. Steve’s #1 hobby was fishing and took any chance he could to drop a fishing line in the water. A great joy for him was taking his son and grandsons on fishing trips and sharing his passion with the ones he loved. Steve’s sudden and unexpected death leave a great hole not only in his family but within the community he served.
