Bernadette Surls, 53, of Kurtistown passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at home. She was born in Honolulu. Private services held. She is survived by her daughter Chantel Surls of Honolulu; brother James Surls of Honolulu; sister Brenda Kaetsu of Kurtistown; 2 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
