Carmen D. Mangunay, 83 of Kahului, passed away on November 25, 2025 in Honolulu. She was born on November 21, 1942 in the Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 9am to 10:15am on Friday, December 19, 2026 at Christ the King Church Kahului; eulogy will begin at 10:15am with prayer service to start at 11am.
Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 20, 2026 at Christ the King Church Kahului from 9am to 10:15am; eulogy to begin at 10:15am; mass starts at 11am. Burial will follow, 12:30pm at Maui Memorial Park.
Carmen loved spending time with family - especially her grandchildren, cooking and reading. She was predeceased by her parents, Macario B. & Candida R. Deolazo; and sister, Dalia Buraga. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bonifacio Espino Mangunay; his children, Carmina Deolaso Mangunay, Carlo Deolaso Mangunay; siblings, Primo R. Deolaso (Estrelia), Celia Poulter (Michael), Carlito Deolaso (Lita), Rizaldy Deolaso (Entay); grandchildren, Meg Toreliza, Kobe Toreliza, Bonita Toreliza, Annica Mangunay, Ryan Mangunay, Carlo Mangunay Jr.; and numerous nieces & nephews.
