Daniel Charles Surin Sr.August 10, 1942 – November 17, 2022Daniel Charles Surin Sr., 80, of Kailua Kona, Hawai‘i passed away on November 17, 2022 in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He was born on August 10, 1942, in New York City, New York. He was born in New York City, NY where he became the manager of the St. Regis hotel. Dan moved to Aspen, Colorado and opened Abetone Ristorante there. He retired in Hawaii. He is survived by son Daniel C. (Vivian) Surin, Jr. of Silt, Colorado; daughters Kendra Surin of Ocean City, Maryland; Margot (Tom) Hayes of Vero Beach, Florida; Kathy (Tom) Martin of Scarsdale, New York; and one grandchild.Private services will be held.
