Visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints in Hana; service at 11 a.m., burial will follow at Waikoloa Cemetery in Hana.
David is survived by his former wife, Maylyn Cabral; children, Dylan Haloa Phillips (Liana Freitas), Keisha-Mei Phillips, Alexia Phillips, “Puna Boy” Phillips; grandson, Kanaloa Lanakila Phillips; granddaughter, Kulia Freitas; mother, Joycelene Phillips; and sister, Jaydene Uilani P. Tehiva.
David is predeceased by his father, David Phillips Jr. “Chabby”; and siblings, Dale Puipui Phillips, and Jennifer K. Phillips.
