Elisabeth Reinhart Oswald, 98, of Hilo, formerly of San Francisco, died April 6, 2012 at Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Germany and was a veteran of World War II, US Women's Army Air Corps (WAC). She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, US Air Force Sergeant's Association. Celebration of Life is scheduled at Christ Lutheran Church, Hilo, Saturday, April 14, 2012. Friends may call at 5:00pm. She is survived by her daughters Susan (Carl) Sandahl, Christine (David) Reed; 2 grandchildren; sister-in-law Gladys Oswald; numerous nieces and nephews.
