Frances Bernadette Kalikolehua Iokepa Abbott, 58, of Lahaina, Maui, died April 10, 2010 at her residence. She was born October 28, 1951 in Hilo. She retired as a Computer Consultant. Survived by her husband, LeRoy Abbott II; hanai-son, Roy (Dani) Abbott; hanai-daughter, Wendy (Hopsing) Coon; brothers, George "Butchie" Akiu, Arthur (Janet) Iokepa, Melvin Iokepa, and Wayne (Kanani) Iokepa; sisters, Eunice "Nickie" Kunz, Cecilia "Ulu" (Orvis) Knowlton, Elizabeth "Betty" Iokepa, and Darlene (Ke'ala) Kakalia; numerous grandchildren, neices & nephews.
Visitation: Visitation 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service at 7 p.m.; Family requests limit any flowers to lei only for the Maui services. Visitation again from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home in Hilo, prayer service at 7 p.m.
Services: Visitation 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hilo, mass at 10 a.m., cremation to follow. Donations may be made to the Maui Memorial Medical Center, Oncology Department, in memory of Kaliko Abbott.
