Henereit Juling Taclan

Henereit Juling Taclan, 74, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on May 9, 2026 at home surrounded by family, under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on October 7, 1951 in Wailuku.

Henereit enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting and cooking. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Cristino Sr.; her parents, Felipe & Christina Bueno; her children, Christine Taclan, Cristino Taclan Jr.; and siblings, Isaac Kaaihue, Violet Hoopai, Margarita Bueno and Marsha Ann Shepherd. She is survived by her children, Priscilla Romero (Jeff), Adrian Taclan (Caroline), Andrea Taclan; hanai daughter, Beatrice Hoopai; daughter-in-law, Elaine Chang; siblings, Marilyn Java Kaahanui, Christopher Bueno, Shane (Melissa) Bueno; 9 grandchildren, Eternity Ray Taclan Chang, Everli Lei Taclan Chang, Cristino Taclan Chang, Samuel Romero, Isaiah Romero, Christian Romero, Shi-Ann Taclan-Romero, Isaiah Day and Christopher Ohta.

Visitation will be held from 5p-9pm on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Ballard Family Mortuary Kahului; services will begin at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 8am-11am at Ballard Family Mortuary Kahului; service start at 10am; cremation will follow.
