Jeanne Testa, 72, of Volcano, passed away on Tuesday April 9, 2013 at the Pohi Malama Hospice in Hilo. She was born in New Jersey and retired as a court reporter with the U.S. Army from 1977-1995, awarded the Rear Admiral Wilfred A. Hearn for the highest final class standing in the closed microphone court reporting course at the Naval Justice School in Newport, RI, also retired as a sergeant 1st class. No service will be held, donations in her memory may be made to the Aloha Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Hospice of Hilo. She is survived by her husband Frank E. Box of Volcano; son Russell S. Esposito of Oklahoma; daughter Noreen M. Harper of Oklahoma; sisters Patricia Cole of New York, Marguerite Meyer of South Carolina and Kathy Clark of California; brother Andrew Bradshaw of New Jersey; 4 grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews; 20 grand-nieces and nephews.
