

Jonathan K. Tolentino, 72 of Hana, Maui passed away on November 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving ohana and under the care of Hospice Maui. He was born on November 12, 1953, to Joseph and Clara Tolentino in Hana.
Jonathan was a man of quiet strength, deep aloha, and unwavering devotion to those around him.. Whether he was working, playing music, or simply being present in moments big and small, Jonathan lived with humility, gratitude, and a heart always open to others.
To his ʻohana, Jonathan was a pillar—steady, loving, and dependable. To the Hāna community, he was a familiar and comforting presence, known for his kindness, generosity, and deep respect for people and place. His life was a quiet testament to aloha, lived genuinely and shared freely.
Visitations will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Kamoku, Hana (Ala Kukui); with service at 12:00pm. Celebration of life will follow at 3pm at Hana Bay, Helene Hall.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Tolentino; daughters, Pohakalani Tolentino-Perry & Haunani Roback (Sean Ikaika Roback); his 10 grandchildren, & 12 great-grandchildren.
