Joseph Peter Gomes, Jr., 56, of Makawao, passed away on March 31, 2011, at his home. He was born on February 4, 1955, in Wailuku. Joseph was a master of all trades, but saw himself as an Automotive Mechanic. He is survived by his sons, Derrick (Manu) Gomes, Duane (Jaynina) Gomes, Daton (Jessika) Gomes, Jeremy Gomes; girlfriend of 20 years, Charlene Messer; brother, Eddie Boy Gomes; sisters, Christine Valletta, Cynthia Gomes; and 5 grandchildren, Jayci, Cavin, Jada, Austin, and Nainoa Gomes.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011, at Ballard Family Mortuary
Services: service will start at 7:30 p.m.
Interment: cremation will follow.
