Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Norman’s Mortuary; eulogy at 7:20 p.m.; service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Shimomura; sons, William (Connie) Laborte, Clarence “Halona” (Karen) Laborte, Windley (Wendy) Laborte; daughter, Rose (David) Rabanal; brothers, Stanley (Mary) Shimomura, Ralph “Mako” (Aileen) Shimomura, Melvin (Jeanne) Shimomura, deceased-Kenneth (Ellen) Shimomura, Dennis Shimomura, Ernest (Stacey) Shimomura, Corwin (Elsie) Shimomura; sisters, Carolyn (Raymond) Kidani, Diane (Glenn) Erickson; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
