Larry Vincent Lung On Ng Sr.

Son of the late Kwock Wah and Victoria Ng, he was born on July 20, 1933 in Keanae, Hawaii.

Larry retired as a Lieutenant from the Maui Police Department on December 31, 1980. Following his tenure with the county, he continued on as Director of Security at the Hyatt Regency Maui, Grand Wailea Resort, Kahului Airport, and The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. During his retirement, he enjoyed working on his Keanae property cultivating tropical flowers and bananas on the same land on which he was born, raised and enjoyed.

Larry is survived by wife and longtime companion, Yukie Ng, daughter, Larrie Plunkett (the late Billy Plunkett,) two sons Larry Ng Jr. (Colleen,) and Vince Ng (Mark,) brother, Patrick Ng, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Ballard Family Mortuary from 9:00am - 10:30am, with service to begin at 10:30am. Burial to follow on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Maui Memorial Park at 10:30am. Family and friends wishing to attend the burial are asked to meet at Ballard Family Mortuary at 10:00am.
