Laurie Ann N. Remit, 57, of Kahului, died on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. Remit was born on May 4, 1953 in Puunene. She was a cashier at Sears. She is survived by her husband, Mark L. Remit; one son, Derrick (Roseanna) Akina; two daughters, Marissa (Rainer) Aisek and Marlene (Cliff) Amalato; two brothers, Anthony Akina and Richard Akina; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation: Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Borthwick Norman's Mortuary. Visitation also will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 at Borthwick Norman's Mortuary
Services: Service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010. Service at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2010.
Interment: Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
