Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului; service will begin at 7 p.m. and cremation will follow.
Leona worked as a secretary for the State of Hawaii, Medquest Division, until she retired.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Castillo (Nisha Santana); daughters, Michele (Jon) Pagaduan, and Kristy (Nolan) Au; grandchildren, Sheylynn Santos-Castillo, Shyanne, Shalea & Tytan Castillo, Lory-ann Pacil, Lilinoe Andrade-Santana, Jonah, Micah & Nainoa Pagaduan, Ha’aheo, Kamaha’o, Natasha-Rae, & Kili’ohu Au; great-grandchildren, Kule’a & Asher Pagaduan, Kawailani Au, and Haliko Kan-Hai; brothers, Anthony & Douglas Mina; sisters, Theodora “Doda” Rapoza, Winnie Largo, Rene “Bobbie” Lopes-Lathan, Annette Murashita; hanai sisters, Maile Sombelon, and Lucille “Lulu” Hamamoto and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vicky is predeceased by her husband, Clarence Castillo; grandson, Noah Au; parents, Victoriano & Mary Mina; and sister, Madge Maliikapu.
