

Mary Kalehuawehe, 72 of Wailuku, Maui passed away on October 20, 2019 under the care of Hale Makua in Kahului. She was born on November 22, 1946 in Hana, Maui.
She is survived by her caregiver and niece, Mahealani Kupau of Wailuku; sisters, Theresa (Hanky) Eharis, Cecelia Kupau, Valorey (John) Ng, all of Hana, and Annie (Murphy) Kanana of Waianae; brothers, John (Jane) Kupau of Lahaina, Fabian (Gwen) Kupau of Wailuku, and Francis Kupau of Hana; god children, Lani (Hanale) Keanaaina and Shiloh Kahele both of Las Vegas, Christin (Matt) Pauole and Alia (Liah) Mahuna and Ginelle Kupau all of Wailuku; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband Nicholas Roy Kalehuawehe; brothers Joseph, Valentine, Samuel, and Leonard; sister, Agnes (Eddie) Kahakauwila, Emily; god child, Rachel Sanoe Kalanikau; and parents, Joseph Noa Kupau Sr. and Agnes Mahealani Momoa Kupau both of Hana.
Services will be held at Norman’s Mortuary on Friday, December 13, 2019. Visitation to begin at 6:00 p.m. with service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Services will continue on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Norman’s Mortuary. Visitation to begin at 9:00 a.m. with service to begin at 10:00 a.m. A scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
