Michael Angel Robin Sarong, 59, of Pahoa, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Hilo Medical Center. Born on April 26, 1965 in Honolulu, HI. He was a commercial fisherman and member of Hawaiian Sovereignty.He is survived by parents Angel and Gail Sarong of Hawaiian Shores, son Isaac Michael-Angel Sarong of Washington, daughter Lia-Tui Mikala Sarong of Kailua-Kona, HI, sisters Michele Leialoha (Anthony) Merryman of Henderson, NV and Maxine Cheryl-Lani (Andrew) Zarriello of California, nieces Tiani Shea Merryman of Henderson, NV, Nanea Jade Merryman of Henderson, NV, Brook Leila Zarriello of California, McKenzie Zarriello of California, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Private memorial to be held.
