Philip "Jimmy" James Silva, 86, of Wailuku, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at his residence in Wailuku. "Jimmy" was born on May 1, 1924 in Wailuku. He was a retired supervisor for the Honolulu Gas Company. He is survived by his four sons, Randall "Rusty" (Danette) Silva, David (Debbie) Silva, Paul (Tracy) Silva, and Mark (Rachel) Silva; a daughter, Phyllis (Richard) Arase; three sisters, Caroline Cordeiro, Harriet Amaral, and Hazel Rotella (deceased); thirteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation: Family and friends are invited to gather for funeral services on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Family requests aloha attire and no flowers.
Services: Mass at 11 a.m.
Interment: Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Maui Veteran's Cemetery.
