Robert Jonathan “Jon” Cooley, 48, of Hilo, passed away on Thursday, September 17th 2015. He was born in Honolulu and worked for Dorvin Leis as a Journeyman pipe fitter with the Local 675. Celebration of life will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary-Hilo (located at 570 Kinoole st Hilo Hi, 96720) on Saturday, October 10th 2015. Visitation to start at 10:00 a.m, Service to start at 11:00 a.m. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Scattering of the ashes will be held in Honolulu on Sunday, October 11th 2015 at 11:30a.m in front of The Elks Lodge in Waikiki (Located at 2933 Kalakaua Ave. Honolulu, HI 96815). He is survived by his spouse Agnes “Aggie” L. Cooley of Hilo; father Robert L. (Joanne) Cooley of Arizona; sons David “Kekoa” Kinro- Cooley of Hilo, Corey Hinano (Megan) Kinro-Cooley of Hilo, Elijah Nainoa Kinro- Cooley of Hilo; sister Suzanne (Charles) Christnacht of Washington; 3 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
