Robert was born on April 10, 1934 in Puunene. He was an independent insurance agent throughout most of his career, and retired as an Insurance Salesman with Atlas Insurance Company.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joy; daughters, Traci and Brett Yamane; son, Shane (Teresa) Yamane; sister, Jane (Thomas) Sawyer; sister-in-law, Reiko Yamane; grandsons Robert and Conner Yamane and granddaughters Tyler, and Dylan Yamane.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Yoshiu and Shizuko Yamane; brother, Herbert Yamane, and sister, Barbara Yamane.
