Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will start at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at Makawao Cemetery.
Ron was a retired Meat Cutter at Foodland, and had a passion for dirt bike riding. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary A. Silva; son, Ronald (Jean) Silva II; daughter, Delinah “Dee” (Lance) Okita; sisters, Barbara Broome of Pittsburg, CA; Joanette Kam of Honolulu, HI; Donna De Costa of Kaneohe, HI; and grandchildren, Mana, Keenan, Gabriella, and Raiden.
