Rose K. Giltner, 76, formerly of Kohala, died on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at home in Honoka’a. Born in Honolulu, she was a pantry worker, landscaper, painter, stock clerk, ranch hand and nursery worker. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Kahua Ranch chapel on the Kohala Mountain Road. Visitation at 9:00 am, services to follow. She is survived by her spouse Robert Giltner Sr. formerly of Kohala; son Henry (Ann) Giltner of Waikoloa; daughters Roberta (Alvin) Perez of Kohala, Victoria Cox of Waimea, Tammy (Ted) White of Honoka’a, Jamie (Klem Kaniho) Giltner of Waimea; and is preceded in death by her son Robert Giltner Jr.; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
