Salvador “Sal” Cacho Cordero, 87, of Kahuui, Maui, passed away on November 29, 2023, under the care of Hospice Maui, surrounded by family. He was born on March 10, 1936, in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Christ the King Church in Kahului; prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Christ the King Church in Kahului; mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku.
Sal was a retired at the Maui County Department of Water supply. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Lou Delos Santos Cordero; children, David (Mary) Cordero, Malia (Curtis Gonsalves) Cordero, Victor (Anita) Cordero, Severino “Reno” Cordero (deceased), Jocelyn Cardona; grandchildren, Radnent, David Jr. & Jet Cordero, Steven, Garret & Kelly Ann Gonsalves, Jason & Dustin Cordero; 2 great grandchildren, Mia-Grace Peahi Gonsalves, Averie-Faith Makena Gonsalves; and numerous nieces & nephews.
