Theresa Marie Whener

Theresa’s journey after moving to Maui was marked by diverse and dedicated service across several fields. She worked for Aloha Contract Services at the airport, where she played a vital role in ensuring smooth operations. Her commitment to the community extended to essential roles in police, fire, and emergency dispatch, where she contributed to public safety and emergency response. Theresa also embraced her nurturing side by running her own state licensed daycare, providing care and support to young children.Her multifaceted career is a testament to her adaptability, dedication, and positive impact she had on various aspects of her community.

She is predeceased by her mother and father and brother Harry Simon.

Theresa is survived by her life time partner and husband Raymond Whener, her daughter Shannon (Ian) Whener, son R.J. (Nicole) Whener, grandchildren Isla, Kanoa, and Dune. Her sister Maryanne Daniels, and Brother Jim Simon.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Ballard Family Mortuary; prayer service to begin at 7:00pm.
