Thomas J. Higgins Jr., 69 of Kahului, Maui passed away on March 14, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on July 20, 1946 in Wailuku, Maui and graduated from St. Anthony High School. He was a security guard for Freeman Burns, Securitas and retired from Delta Security. Tom also worked at Longer Dorf Bakery and Select Foods in California. His great joys were his family, fishing and hunting.
Service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church from 9am to 11am; with mass to begin at 11am.
Thomas is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Dorothy Higgins; brothers, Leonard Higgins, Robert Higgins; survived by his wife, Pauline Torrecer Higgins; sons, Dominic (Gina) Torrecer, Danny Higgins; daughter, Jennifer Granera; brother, Joey (Linda) Higgins; sisters, Carol (Dayton) Kaaloa, Janet Freitas; 6 grandchildren, Matthew Torrecer, Luke Torrecer, Regina Torrecer, Alexandra Granera, Julian Granera, and Christian Granera.
The family is grateful to Kaiser Permanente, Maui Memorial Medical Center, Chaplain Milton Fricke, Father Bunda and Nona Iwata.
