Thomas A. Roberts III

Thomas A. Roberts III of Haiku, Maui passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 72.Tom was born in Salem, Oregon May 20, 1951. The family moved to Kailua Oahu in 1960. He was adrywaller for many years of his adult life, worked in real estate and was a cable lineman on Kauai.

He is preceded in death by his wife Molly Roberts. He is survived by his son, Colton Roberts and brothersRichard (Peggy) Roberts and Dave Roberts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tom found Jesus Christ in early 2000 and served at Hope Chapel North Shore where he volunteered in the church’s food ministry called 5 Fishes and 2 Loaves.Tom’s love and passion was surfing. He was involved in Juniors Surfing in Kailua in the 60’s and wassurfing pipeline at an early age. In the late 60’s and 70’s he was avid tearing up Ho’okipa on Maui.The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Tom’s church and midweek Bible Study Group; wherehe was so blessed to have such special and life long lasting friendships that he loved deeply.Memorials may be sent to Tom’s church: Hope Chapel North Shore, P.
