Victor Bernard Souza Jr., 75, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, passed away on Saturday February 15, 2025. He was born on December 18, 1949 in Hawaii. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the Army. He was also a forester for Department of Land and Natural Resources and also worked for Fish and Wildlife.Services will be held on Friday February 28, 2025 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Hilo. Visitation starts at 8:00AM with mass to follow at 9:30AM.Victor is survived by his wife Linda A. Souza of Kurtistown; his daughters Jody-Rae Bergfeld of Hilo, Hawaii, Casey L. Hanoa of Kurtistown, Hawaii; his brother Eddie Souza of Hilo, Hawaii; his sisters Paulette Waltjen of Hilo, Hawaii, Gail Enonoria of Pahoa, Hawaii, Joanne Souza of Hamakua, Hawaii, Winona Souza of Pahoa, Hawaii, Dawn Souza of Hilo, Hawaii; his 5 grandchildren; and his 3 great grandchildren.
