Warren Perry Curtis, 97, of Hilo, died May 18, 2012 at home in Hilo. He was born in Overland Park, Missouri. He served as a Navy Seabee in World War II. He retired as a printer and was a member of the International Typographic Union. Private service held. He is survived by his wife Mary “Malia” Curtis of Hilo; sons Michael (Cherrie) Curtis of San Diego, Timothy (Linda) Curtis of San Diego; step sons Mark (Alexis) Kane of Oahu, Jonathan (Kathy) Kane of Oahu, Gregory (Beverly) Kane of Hilo; daughters Deedee (Joseph) Dodd of Oregon, Dr. Mary Frances (Michael) Dague of Washington, Susanna (Damien) Rhodes of Oregon; step daughters Charlene (Bud) Fields of California, Georgia (Ron) Hosoda of California, Whilhelmina Kane of Colorado, Teresa Knocke of Hilo; 25 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
