Wayne Tetsuo Kawamura, 66 of Hilo, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born on May 26, 1958 in Wailuku, Maui. He was the owner of WTK Repairs and Remodeling and also a farm caretaker in Hilo. Originally from Maui and has resided in Hilo for the past 20 years.Services will be on Maui, September 14, 2024 at 432 Walehu Beach Rd. Wailuku. Viewing 10:00am and Service at 11:00am.He is survived by his partner Alicia Hua of Hilo, daughters Nadene (Kalani) Kawamura of Wailuku, Maui Ho’ola’inamanuikeaheahe Kekahuna-Kawamura of Hilo, Ha’alealeikapuuwai Kawamura of Hilo. Brother Craig (Joni) Kawamura of Kahului, Maui; sisters Gwen (Stanley) Tamashiro of Kahului, Maui, June (Kevin) Nishihara of Kahului, Maui and 2 grandchildren.
