Yoshie Maeda , 91, of Hilo, died July 30, 2011, at Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Honolulu and retired as a seamstress and business proprietor. Service scheduled August 5, 2011, at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home, visiting 3:00 PM, service 5:00 PM. She is survived by her son Gary (Yvonne) Maeda of Hilo; daughter Susan (Ricky) Maeda-Kimura of Hilo; brother Ed Hiroshi (Janet) Nitahara of Laguna Niguel, California; sisters Misae Takata of Hilo, Kay Kimie (Harold) Iijima of Kapolei, June Fumie Ikeda of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers-in-law Mike Takeo (Helen) Maeda of Honolulu, Saichi (Mitsie) Maeda of Hilo; sister-in-law Narue Nitahara of Pukalani, Maui; 6 grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
