Arturo Arcangel

1946 – 2021

Art Arcangel passed away peacefully in Kamloops Hospice on Sept 20, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Art was born in Mandaluyong, Philippines to Vitaliano and Felicidad Arcangel and was one of 5 children. He is the last of his siblings to pass away.

Art is survived by and will be sadly missed by his wife, Gloria; his children, Allan and Alma (Roberto); and his only grandchild, Berkley. He will be lovingly missed and remembered by many friends, nieces and nephews, and other family and relatives. He lived for his family and did all he could to provide them with a good life.

His family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff of the Kamloops Hospice Association, his family physician, Dr. Sven Kip, and all the healthcare workers who provided him with care through his long journey.

Due to current public health restrictions, a small and private funeral service will be held on Monday, Sept. 27th at OLPH church in Kamloops, BC.
